I have a BS in Chemical Engineering. I enjoy solving problems with technology. Being a Systems Integration engineer for Wunderlich-Malec allowed me to contribute to companies such as Meta, Apple, Lam Research, TDK, IBM, and Chevron. I enjoyed solving problems in data centers, semiconductor manufacturing, and implementing IoT and IBM Watson in the petrochemical industry. Currently, I am working with Marathon Petroleum as an SRE in Operational Technology, converting Martinez to a Renewable Fuels Facility.
I have experience working with Kubernetes, data engineering, cloud computing, and networking. I have worked with Grafana, Prometheus, Python/bash. I enjoy working with Terraform, Ansible, Docker CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins. I have worked with OS such as Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, Windows, and Urbit recently. I have supported projects consisting of MySQL and MS SQL backup and administration. I have experience with VMware, VM Protection, and ESXi deployment. I have an understanding of Amazon EC2, S3, Lightsail, and Redshift to analyze data. I have worked with data using the ETL process, cleaning it and refining it with Python and Jupyter, specifically pandas and numpy, and used MySQL to run queries and draw conclusions from data jobs. I have worked with DataStax Cassandra, DataStax Studio, Dsbulkloader, Apache Solr, and Knowi to analyze data.
